I'm about to order a Acekard 2.1 with a kingston 4gb micro sdhc and premium update+flashing service.

Does this come with the USB attachment to plug the Micro SDHC into?

And is $26.95 a fair price?

Also, is the shipping really 2-5 weeks?

-Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that you can get a few bucks off without the flashing service. On top of that, there should be a Micro SD reader with it. Also, even more on top of that... shipping will be like 3-8 weeks. Why? Simple. Holiday shipping rush. Good luck!

I don't think you'll get a USB thing. When I ordered my Acekard, I got a MicroSD adapter. Which is a card that you put the microsd into, then put it into a slot on the computer. Also, this is the wrong place, this belongs in the Shoptemp discussion.

Well theoretically they do the same thing. Sure they're different, but they do do the same thing. My colleague ordered a 2.1 and he got an USB reader.

First off, sorry i'm new to this forum and being the noob that I am I forgot to look around for a shoptemp section)

And, the adapter should just plug into a regular SD slot on a computer then?

What does the premium flashing+update even do? Do you get apps/games with it?

-Thanks for the responces above! (And hopefully below)

The Premium Update service gives you apps and games, though in all honesty, its soo easy to do without it. It takes less than 5 minutes to find everything. NONONONO, remove the question about where to find games. Not allowed here!

Ok, thanks so much.

Oh, also this thing will last, right? I don't think DS Lites update firmware or anything so i'm safe on that..

And is Acekard compatible with all DS Lites?

To be honest, the "2-5 weeks shipping" is mostly "Cover Your Ass" time.
Most people get the item(s) in about a week (5~10 days).
Faster shipping options are also pretty much a 'scam' since the longest parts of the shipping time comes from processing the order and clearing customs.

I got my AK2i from GameKool in 8 days, and that was including a holiday in China.
