Secondhand Wii U- owner did not log out- HELP PLEASE

i bought a wii u second hand off of someone. However they did not reset or remove their old account. and i have no way to contact them. So i am stuck on the user select page, with no way of contacting them, and no info whatsoever. IDK about the pin, password or anything. Nintendo did not help at all, and anything they tried would not work. I cant even access enquiry code required for the MKEY Salthax thing, in case anyone was going to sugguest that. PLEASE HELP ME I AM DESPERATE. I always wanted a console, like my friends and family, and now, this happened. PLEASE I AM GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP, AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL WHO HELP ME

I think you can fix this with the recovery menu and a raspberry pico.

It's not limited to that one thing. I think a hacked switch works.

You'll have to ask what else you can use. However, a Pico is like 5 bucks.

I have no idea. You're limited. I guess this was a serious oversight by Nintendo. Should've been able just to format the system if this happens. Seems like it becomes a wall anchor if you forget your information.

Ok I am sorry about the caps lock, my laptop was being strange and i had no idea if it was on or not
1)The mkey salthax did not work as i could not access the inquiry number. And nintendo did not help at all. After looking through the 2nd link, i decided to guess the code, and got in. THANKS

Dude... @godreborn told you already how you can fix your issue. Buy a raspberry pi pico from eBay for example and flash it.
