RUMOR: New Jak and Daxter for PSP?

"Another interesting rumor to feed to the Internet dogs: if the stars align right, someone out there is just about to announce a new Jak and Daxter title. That and it's going to be for the PSP.

Other news sites have sourced this Jak PSP rumor on the same NeoGAF guy who told everyone of an upcoming Uncharted 2 teaser trailer. He was dismissed off the bat for rumormongering, but a few days later, his claims were proven true: Nate did drop in with a cold snap.

Now, apparently, when he dropped the bomb on Uncharted 2, he was also talking about something else. The following quotes were directly taken from a recent post of this guy, which was later deleted:

OK. Anyone notice I hinted at the Uncharted 2 reveal before the end of the year? I hinted at something else..

"It's not PS3"

"Jak and Daxter will be out for the PSP soon."

"Clever. Ain't Naughty Dog either.

So there could be another Naughty Dog game. i won't tell you about."

Curious indeed, eh? This guy could be someone inside Naught Dog who can't keep his mouth shut. Currently, Naughty Dog is supposed to be working on a new Jak and Daxter series (they're starting a new trilogy, so they say), with the first game being Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier using the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune engine.

If this guy with the leaky info were really from Naughty Dog, then he would probably know if some other studio out there is also on the Jak project.

His previous claims of the Uncharted 2 trailer were proven true. Will this Jak PSP game follow suit? There is some reason to another Jak and Daxter on the PSP. Ready at Dawn's Daxter did well enough, so seeing another game for the handheld isn't that far of a stretch."

Found Jak and Daxter to be better than Ratchet and Clank personally, Great game, but Dont have a PS3 >.>

May give me another reason to get one.
