Add him a glasses in digital photomontage and he’s gonna look like actor Jack Spading/Daniel Jackson in original Stargate movie and Michael Shanks in Stargate SG-1 from since season 1 into season 3,Hal”Otacon”Emmerich from Metal Gear Solid,Harry Potter in from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, younger Gabe Newell, younger John Lennon from The Beatles.
Jack Spading? I thought it was James Spader?

Or is this another "MENGELE EFFECT"
Ah yes! Oops sorry my bad I meant I should had said Jack Spader with glasses for instance Brian Cox would remind me of little bit younger Daniel Jackson.

Also there's a sequel to this thread (part 2) if y'all haven't noticed, unless you folks prefer the original?

Speaking of what if both my own parents gonna inevitably die due to natural causes then maybe I’ll consider asking someone from CERN if human teleportation like in Stranger Things might be real, but just only what if supermarket Dino gonna temporarily or permanently replace my dad’s industrial and groceries store. Or else if worshipping ancient, mythical hindu god deity Shiva might end up with offering me granding me just only reincarnation then I’m afraid I will have to avoid them stay away from them. I won’t allow myself to be symbolically metaphorically to be treated like some kind of neobabylonian feral animals such as for instance dog, cow, horse, donkey in the future.

  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
I installed a Windows XP ISO onto a VM and used a fake product key, as does everybody else, so my best bet is that it's either a false positive or Windows XP having terrible security.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
The product key generator could be tied to mailware like mentioned in the links
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
No, just found product keys in a list on archive.org
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
whatevs, Security removed it from my device
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
    There you go
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@K3Nv3, Cloud scanners often interpret machine learning to understand the inner workings of a program and checks to see if functionality compares to how malware operates. Hence why it's not always accurate and you get false positives such as W32.Wacatac.

It's interesting that the ISO came with the browser though, is it also pre-loaded with other stuff?
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
now, back to what I was doing last night: going insane because Firefox can't set the new tab page to your custom new tab page-- apparently as a security issue
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Yes that was also mentioned in the links I posted
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
@ZucchiniMaiden No no, it was a blank install of XP, I installed the software afterwords lol
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I would not recommend using a product key generator to generate keys, you can find em on the internet relatively easy. And as for Windows XP keys, a certain GitHub page has them. :P

Pirated copies of os can also be detected especially with torrent links

    Now, hmm...
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
Is there a Firefox feature in like maybe about:config to change the new tab page to the home page?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Settings > Home > Change 'New Tabs' to anything.

Milk from Aldi always tastes weird.

  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
"New Tabs" only has Firefox Home or Blank Page
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@K3Nv3, There's the Windows Genuine Advantage that got implemented in SP3 if I remember which checked the license of your Windows installation to see if the key was either pirated or whether it's been activated.
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Hav nt had an issue with their milk but bought creamer and it was like cottage cheese
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got a lot of controversy because it acted in a way like spyware, but really who cares, Microsoft likes to spy on you.

If you can't download windows directly from Microsoft always expect risks never know what user could leave out during re-upload

Unless you got a physical copy of a os which can be found at thrift shops
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Always expect risks on outdated versions of Windows, there's probably a dozen or more vulnerabilities for XP that haven't been patched after the EternalBlue exploit that got leaked from the NSA.

I get the retro vibe of it but he's using a vm worst case just right click delete kind of crazy not to be using up to date software if your system can handle it
