How do I remove tinfoil while also removing the eshop redirect that tinfoil setup?

If I simply remove tinfoil from the mSD card, and click on the eshop icon the switch crashes, as it clearly is still trying to start the now non-existing tinfoil launcher.

FYI. tinfoil does not work any longer, so I cannot go into tinfoil in case it has any options to remove the link due to the tinfoil red-screen problem.
I have no interest in keeping tinfoil installed

Thanks.

For anyone else in a similar scenario of wanting to uninstall tinfoil...
This 010000000000100B title is located on the mSD card in the athmosphere/titles directory. Just delete it, and after a reboot the eshop should work again.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

    the player dies?

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
