That might make this less relevant then. But I was going to say this new release doesn't allow me to move the screen in the same way version 0.2 did.

Playing pacmania on 0.2 meant I would change the screen position to 24 so I could see how many lives I had left.

On 0.3 changing screen position moves the screen up, but doesn't render anything new in the space this creates. (At least not in pacmania!)

Thank you for working on such an amazing emulator - I'm loving having a 3DS Amiga!

I've only been playing stuff that doesn't tax the Amiga on a N3DS, so I didn't pick up on the performance hit.

I have been savestate scumming my way through a bunch of games, and I noticed that after about 10 or so save/reloads, it freezes on the state load screen. You can hit the home button and go back to the main menu so it's not that hard a crash. You can also reload the state after you restart the emulator, so nothing has been corrupted. I've been able to reproduce this on a variety of games so I don't think it's specific to any one.

Looking forward to the next release!

Re-compiled v0.3 with optimization switch and re-upped to github
I will check into the issue with the lost display content when adjusting the vpos, but I think that is something related to the new screen format - maybe I need to go back to 320x240px

Thank you very much Badda, this version is working great in N3DS. Could you add an option to switch between NTSC and PAL? Some games run too fast at 60fps.

Bugfix release v0.3.1 is out:

• fixed emulation running too fast on N3DS
  
• reverted emulation to 320px width - 400px caused screen not rendering below line 229. 400px width is still on the wishlist but needs more research and thorough testing.
  
• fixed a bug in key mappings

THX for speedfix. if i select 0 Frameskip the emu runs still too fast you have programmed an Amiga 4000 or so xD, but with auto frame it works well. N3ds Ruffn Tumble Game

Playing "Frontier Elite 2" and "Formula One Grand Prix Microprose" with kickstart ROM 1.3 or even "D Generation" with kickstart ROM 2.0 it works very well and more..

Unfortunately, some games are not working such as supercars I and II, Lotus esprit 3, Agony, or have problems like Another world if based on UAE4ALL RC3.

So i've tested a few games (on a n3DS) and performance is good most of them.

Alien Breed and Space Crusade works perfectly, Space Hulk has has minor performance issues.
I'm really excited where this will go further, my biggest gripe right now is the screen being drawn out of the 3ds screen space. Other than that i'm happy i can replay some childhood games!

Thanks for the feedback. You can scroll up and down with the C-Stick to see the hidden parts of the sceen. Problem is: if I would scale everything to fit the 3DS screen, the image would become blurry ...

Yeah i did move the screen and in most of the games i tested it was mostly a non issue, but i just grinded my gears
So scaling it down would work just as scaling it a bit up? Bummer, but not a deal breaker.
Luckily most of the games i wanted to replay were either some obscure rpg's or turn based strategies, so i'm still happy i can.

God damn Space Crusade in my pocket. Together with Parasite Eve. And i thought the 3DS scene was on life support, ready to pull the plug on it.

Great work, so many excellent things about this, touchscreen mouse and being able to update in the emulator itself is awesome. Really appreciate that you've brought two of my favorite computers ever to my favorite handheld.

I noticed some graphical issues when scrolling in PP Hammer, I've only played a few games so far so I don't know if that game achieves it in some weird way or if it's a common error with the emulator at this point. Played a little Cannon Fodder just now and it worked flawlessly, but the savestate did not. Would it be possible to save snapshots like in Vice?

Yes, I can reproduce the glitch with PP Hammer - no idea how to fix this though. I guess thus is one of the games that don't work 100% ;-)
The savestates work differently in uae3ds than in Vice. To load a savestate, you need to insert the floppy disk that you had in the drive when you saved the state. Exit the menu, re-open the menu and then you can load the savestate.
