Homebrew Official [Release] Saviine - WiiU savedata tool

I really want to thanks Maschell for this tool, I could finally recover a few saves from a damaged flashdrive I used to use it on my WiiU. Sadly most games just gave me the corrupted usb drive error but I got a few saves (Including Wind Waker HD) back. Though what pains me the most is my nSMBU save data with all the challenges in gold.

Edit2: Dumped it with ddd with no problems. Maybe a bug?

I have the same problem, had a look at the source code and can confirm this is a bug. Wii Party U and other games only use the shared savegame folder (instead of user specific one) and if saviine fails to read the user folder it will also skip the common folder. That is why "ddd" works. I have created an issue (https://github.com/Maschell/saviine/issues/1) but I am also a developer (not C) and tried to fix that. I will test my unofficial Saviine 1.2 version today and if it works, I can give you the elf file. Also Maschell will get a pull request so that he can integrate the fix to the official source code.

Why did I do that? I was forced to reset my console because my previous girl-friend had an account which I couldn't delete. Fortunatelly, I could dump all savegames and I was able to inject them successfully - except few. That was motivation enough for me to support that tool. The account is gone and the savegames are rescued. Awesome work!

Yes, the IPv4 address of the computer where saviine_server is running.


Finally, I have fixed Saviine to restore games that uses only common save path. I have tested Wii Party U and it works like a charm. Enjoy this unofficial version 1.2 Please use the official version 1.1b which includes the fix.

I sold a lot of my games last year, so I don't have the discs any more...

I ported saviine to work with the homebrew launcher, now this should work with all firmwares that the HBL is supporting.

Suggestion: Could you add an "autoaccept" argument or something so it wouldn't be needed to go to the computer and press "Accept" each time you dump?

Reporting in. Saviine worked wonderfully with Xenoblade Chronicles X. I wanted to move my save from a second account to my main account in the Wii U and it worked perfectly.

XCX didn't have a common folder though.

Most don't....I'm not sure of any that actually do besides maybe like Wii Fit U cause its account system is shared between profiles

Hello,i am trying to dumb my save files from wii u for use after with loadiine but I have to question.I have dumb this game and it seem all ok:
Mario 3d world
Wario
Wii party (only common)
Yoshi (only common)
-Where do I have to put the file dumb?in loadiine I have two folders (c and u)
-I am trying also with captain toad but after press "A" in saviine on wii u the program always send me to mii Maker and it doesn't dumb the save game,why?
