Packages from page 1 are most recent to my knowledge
You can use USB
I might try it tomorrow. I've had a lot of good luck lately with xproject and 5.05. one memory error and no kernel panics after about 10+ attempts. I don't leave it on rest mode, since it's usually pretty good at working the first try.

Im just waiting for the official retroarch port hopefully should be out soon. Also if it has side by side shader support my PSVR is going to get a bit more use :grog:

Ooh interesting thought. I had fun playing Virtual Boy games on Switch Retroarch using a knock-off Labo VR, but it might be nicer on PSVR

Hi Folks,
thanks for all the information about this great feature.
I have some issues playing PSX-Games with Retroarch.
Here's what I did:
  • As I play EUR-PSX-games I got the scph-bin-files necessary and put them in the retroarch system folder.
  • Launch a PSX-Game with the Beetle-Core (there is only tne "normal" Beelte in the Core-List, not the Beelte-HW)
  • After starting the game I changed the options: Internal GPU resolution to 4x or 8x. and widescreen hack enabled.
  • When I want to resume the game retroarch closes with an error message.
So - here are my questions:
  • Why does Retroarch closes with an error? Can the PS4 not handle this graphic options?
  • How can I get the Beetle HW Core and insert it into retroarch?

And besides of that: Although I scanned for thumbnails there are no such shown - does there have to be be a certain syntax in the game-name?

Thanx in advance

How do I delete all the retroarch files? I already uninstalled the app but some files and folders still appear when I use PS4-Xplorer.

depending on where they are, you may have to enable r/w access to dangerous locations. goldhen doesn't do this, but orbis ftp does as does ps4 xplorer, but you have to use a button combo that I've forgotten.

Its in the data folder of the root. Theres a retroarch folder there and other sce folders but every time I try to delete the retroarch folder the app crashes and send back to the home menu

you may need r/w privileges. did you enable them in ps4 xplorer? there's a button combo. it will show a picture of a controller with what each button/button combo does.

Yes, I keep getting the same error. How can I connect my ps4 via ftp to see if I can delete the folders from there?

you could try goldhen, but that location may be r/w restricted. enable ftp in goldhen in system settings. if that doesn't work, maybe orbis ftp, but if you're on 9.00, I don't know if it works.

Ok it did work, should I delete the entire data folder? it also has other folders like "sce_coredumps, sce logs, self and profile.dat"

yeah, don't mess with anything else. as you can see, I have it when I dumped the file system, and I didn't even install retroarch (just trying to learn how to compile it as I think ps4 uses open orbis, then orbis uses ps4sdk), but lightning mods told me a version is coming that uses orbisdev:

I have that folder as well, and there's an eboot.bin inside. there's a data folder on the vita, and you shouldn't delete it or mess with it unless you know what you're doing. if there are cores inside there, it should be okay to delete them in the self folder, just don't delete the self folder itself. chances are nothing bad would happen even if you did, at most probably reinstall the firmware if it's important in some way:

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
