Hi guys, regarding r4 playlist, can you confirm there's a bug?
Also, please check if my template playlist syntax here is correct, supposing I have games backups on external hdd:

{
"version": "1.4",
"default_core_path": "/data/self/retroarch/cores/fbalpha2012_cps1_libretro_ps4.self",
"default_core_name": "fbalpha2012_cps1_libretro_ps4.self",
"label_display_mode": 0,
"right_thumbnail_mode": 0,
"left_thumbnail_mode": 0,
"sort_mode": 0,
"items": [
{
"path": "/usb0/emulation/CPS1/1941.zip",
"label": "1941 - Counter Attack (World)",
"core_path": "DETECT",
"core_name": "DETECT",
"crc32": "DETECT",
"db_name": "CPS1.lpl"
}

EDIT: Nevermind, I manage to make it work. Went to Playlist Management, then "playlist cleanup" did the trick. I was importing playlists I did for psvita, and in some entries "app0:" was present, so basically the cleanup option also clears all entries except for rom path and name strings. Hope this helps.

Flycast (0.1 984153f4) core seems to be missing an option (Extra Depth Scaling). It fixes the sprites in games like Samurai Shodown VI, is there any workaround?

I uninstalled retroarch from my PS4 6.72 but there are leftover files from retroarch that I cant delete using xplorer as it says that access to the specified file is denied. what can I do now ?

Archive.org 's may 2021 capture states that the page was last updated in july 2020

So even if the online updater worked we'd still get the same files as the r4 release.

TBH I'm okay with the port's current status. Dolphin could have been awesome but alas, beggars and choosers and all.

Even then, Dolphin would run like trash on Orbis. It runs ok in Linux.

I would say that if you are adamant about using a PS4 for emulation, install Linux. Retroarch in Orbis is fine for up to PS1, but Linux is a better option right now.

Remember, I'm the one who helped you with Linux. :) I already have one installed but too much hassle TBH.

RetroArch_PS4_r4: https://mega.nz/file/HM4B3RST#amPGZoltIcuvCqjY9yW4VAHol5g923HSZK3xdmQhmhY
Cores_Installer_r4: https://mega.nz/file/DBxAFY6a#ZBjWCovHhiSfHx9Qq1B-aNVk0T8de7LD23VgLUqbhkQ

These work - Install cores then retroarch.
