If I want to install a newer version of FBI, can I just install the newer versions cia via my old fbi (injected in H&S)

The new update it cool, but, I went to delete a lost.dir folder that my phone made, and it deleted EVRRYTHING in my 3ds folder EXEPT for FBI.
Fix it please.

Wait, it also seemed to have deleted all of my installed .cias as well. Good fucking app.
Sorry, but I'm never trusting fbi again. I lost everything, including my saves. :(

Sounds like user error. Did you highlight the file and press A and then delete? Or did you press Y or X for the menu and delete the entire directory?

I had the folder highlighted, it should have delete that specific folder. It seemed to have done more damage.
I've worked hard in Zelda, animal crossing, and NES remix. :(

I think I pressed Y or X to delete.
It's not so noob friendly. ,:p

For some reason I am not possible to install .tik files.
I am on version 2.0.5 but there just isn't an option to install them when selected.

And did you notice how the confirmation prompt said "Delete the current directory?"

How does the new .tik file thing work?
Is it only for CFW users, or does it work on Arm11 Kernel?
And what does it do?

Yeah, I thought it would delete the folder " lost.dir".
It's OK, it's not your fault, it's mine. It didn't delete my emunand, so, it's OK. I'm sorry. I'm still using it.

FBI v2.1.0 has been released.
  • Added support for network-based ticket installation.
  • Added QR code-based installation over HTTP. Put one or more direct download URLs (separated by new-line characters) in a QR code, and scan it to install.
  • Added title installation from the CDN. Select an installed ticket in the tickets menu, and choose "Install from CDN".
  • Removed progress bars for actions that don't actually use them.
  • Fixed support for files with names containing foreign characters. (names with characters unsupported by the system font, however, still cannot be displayed)
  • Fixed various other miscellaneous issues and possible glitches, overall improving stability.

Scanning QRs to install warez homebrew almost seems ... really cute. :P

It's like the big boy's version of Petit Computer, lol.

@Steveice10 Awesome new update! But I just Have one issue/suggestion... Could you make it possible for this to get a list of what your installed tickets are? This way you can still install it again but don't have to have any guesswork on what each ticket is.

Doesn't make any sense, we can't choose where to install our CIAs but we have the ability to delete whatever title and ctrnand files...
Call it smart filtering. Helps keep the 'unenlightened' from installing things in the wrong area or so goes my understanding.

It automatically determines where to install to, as certain titles can only be installed to certain destinations.

Okay, but but can you add the feature anyway to let us choose? Just like in the 1.4 version, FBI automatically detected the place to install the files but we still had the choice. I think people who have FBI (thus who have a CFW) are smart enough to know the difference between nand titles and sd titles.
