Question about de-yellow a Super Famicom

Got a Super Famicom I'm looking at de-yellowing. Just wanted to ask about the process itself.

I looked at this guide, it said that I would need "Salon Care 40 Volume Cream Developer" and looking on eBay I found this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Salon-S...690294&hash=item4d488812be:g:zn4AAOSw3WxZ~4pt
I was wondering if this is okay to use? It's not the same brand but it seemed close. If not, does anyone know a product that I could use that's easily available in Australia?
Thought this would be a better place to ask because there's a ton of people here that really know their stuff.

Yes that would work.You should be able to pick something like that up in a local drug store for $5-$10.

The only problem with de yellowing console's is it can sometimes look a bit patchy in places depending on how even the cream is applied.And they can sometimes turn yellow again in a short time.

Another option would be to sell the yellow super famicom and put the money you was going to use on the peroxide cream to the money you could get from the console sale and buy a non yellow super famicom.

I use it routinely to clean up older electronics. My recommendation is either: get a reptile light (a full spectrum light) OR use an aquarium set up. And monitor. The cream versions of hydrogen peroxide are okay to use, but they might turn patchy. (Also get an UV spray/sealant, as it protects from fading again.)

Check out this video, there are some new RB methods in this one. I'm not saying that the 8 bit guy did it wrong, I started using RB because of him and his tutorials .

But check it out, he found out that you can use RB with heat only (optional you can use UV light with the heat for better results).

retrobriting will work but personaly i would not reccomend tit because it can take to much colour out the plastic and make it worse and it goes yellow again quicker i don't think it's worth the risk just to make a console a different colour and if i really wanted to i would just swap the case
