hi guys some help please. on 4.55 and downloaded update to 5.05 but it wont let me. Gives me error ce-30021-6. Any ideas? i dont want to have to wipe the system.

Hey guys, i have one question to the update process of the PlayStation.
I‘m on firmware 5.03 and my PlayStation downloaded the latest update file with 5.55 but not installed. Every time the sytsem ask to install new fw but i decline the request.
Can i update via USB to firmware 5.05 or would the System update to the latest 5.55 that it downloaded?

Can i delete the update file of the System?

For me it doesn't usually work first try but 2nd it literally takes about 10 seconds in total. If you use sleep mode no need to run it every time you switch on only after a full power off.

Mmmh, could be wrong but read something on Wololo about South Korea but I don't recall if they mentioned FW 5.07 or higher...

I guess most people should be safe then as long as they buy new and not used.

So yeah, there are already new consoles with FW 5.50 on the wild, grab one now, put it in a closet and forget it for a couple of years. ^__^
