Hi, Guys.
I'm absolutely new with this Wii hacking stuff.
The problem is much the same, I got a black screen after the Developers screen.
I use Neogamma 8 with CIOS Installer Rev.19, this is the updater I used to play MH Tri.
What are the steps so that I can play PoP?
If anyone can help with step-by-step guide, I would be very thankful.
Thanks in advance.

Btw, I have a SD card to upload my Homebrew Channel (if this is gonna help).

Might help if you told us how you are loading the game.

Rev932 is out

*A few fix ups in different places

Edit: Tested it and pop worked flawlessly

I just tried Rev932 aswell. The game worked ok but it still freezes if I press the home button.
Does that happen to you? I'm using CiosRev17.

I use CiosRev19 with ios37 as base and the pop with the fixed main.dol

Great work!

Yep, and the home button no longer crashes the game for me either.

May I know what is ur full setup for POP? I try GX r935 but it just freeze during startup.
- which CIOS ? CIOSX rev19? with CIOS222 rev4?
- any specific config for POP ?
- HDD format, WBFS or FAT32?

I have cIOS222v4 installed too but I'm not using it. Most likely the hdd-format is the problem here. Can anyone confirm?

I saw in HK forum saying that CIOSXrev19 is buggy, they use CIOS38rev17 and can play POP well. Is it I can just reinstall CIOS38rev17 directly?

OK so I decided to shrink my NTFS partition by 64GB and use that space to create an adjacent WBFS partition for my dual-layer games (SSBB, MP3 are the only ones so far).
(Dual-layer games got broken on an NTFS partition after r899 or so).

For the need-disc games like de.blob, I decided to leave a dvdr disc in the drive.

So, now I can play any friggin game with r935 (good, eh?)

My wii is NTSC v4.1U, with cios222 v4 and cios36 Rev9.
I'm using cios222 v4 with GX, exclusively. Waninkoko can kiss my a$$.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let Wiiflow users know that the developers have solved this one. You must be running Release 43. You do not need to patch the main.dol, or have a wip file. You can use a clean ISO. Just make the following changes to your wiiflow.ini file and Wiiflow will do the rest.

[RPWZ41]
disable_dvd_patch=yes
returnto=0

Beta releases and the next release due out very soon automates this with game settings. Here is how to get the game working with current beta releases and the next release. Just go into the game settings on page 4 and set "Disable DVD Patch" = on and "Disable Return To" = off. This will make the changes to wiiflow.ini for you. The changes equate to this. Notice the returnto has changed from 0 to no.

[RPWZ41]
disable_dvd_patch=yes
returnto=no

I should also mention I downloaded the cheats for the game. There are only two cheats. When I enabled the cheats, it breaks the game and yields a black screen. I contacted the developers and they confirm this but say it is not Wiiflow but related to anti piracy built into the game. They say the only way that cheats will work is if you run through a Gecko device.

I tried this game on rev 937 and the game started fine but then I got to a bit near the very start that I couldn't pass! So after quite a few goes I tried CFG USB loader and lo and behold there was a ledge that I needed to jump to that just wasnt visible on GX!

FYI, the game is PAL and my Wii is PAL 4.2!

Sorry if this issue has been resolved on this thread but lots of people said it works and then some said it didnt..I just chimed in with my 2 cents!

UPDATE: Now works like a charm with IOS222 and error 002 fix on!
