Also I see 2 files when I unrar your dat file.

I always used to delete the cheat.dat and copy the usercheat.dat in my microsd card..

You need to delete both files in your MicroSD, and put the new ones in. Overwriting will cause some problems.

You should use both files. The CHEAT.DAT is a blank file since the USRCHEAT.DAT already contains all the codes that were in the official CHEAT.DAT anyway. If your CHEAT.DAT is anything besides a 0KB file, it can cause problems with codes not showing from the USRCHEAT.dat. That's why I have the blank one in my dat. ShadowL is correct, you should delete your old dat's before putting the new ones on your microSD instead of just overwriting. I have encountered issues like what you mention by just overwriting.

Another thing that seems to cause issues sometimes is fragmentation on your microSD. If your microSD is fragmented, it can cause various issues such as codes not appearing, games locking up and general strange operation. A simple way to defragment your microSD is to copy the entire contents of of your microSD to the PC hard drive, format the microSD and copy everything back to the card. This will put all the files back on in a straight line. It's a good idea to do this occasionally. I wouldn't recommend attempting to use your PC's defragment program to defrag a flashcard, that's meant for hard drives and not flash cards. Doing so could potentially damage your flash card or cause it to show much less space than it had before.

Yup..

That was the problem!!

I was not using the Cheat.dat(0kb) file.

Now the cheats are showing..

I have overwritten the existing files. There seems to be no problem but I will keep your point in mind!!

That's how you turn on and off the cheats during a game. To use it, make sure that option is enabled, then hit L+R+up to turn them on, L+R+Down to turn them off while playing a game.

It just unlocks all the stuff, not alter your Brain Age.



I didn't make the code, I just added it to the dat. Besides, the backlight codes are always useful.

Nah, you'd need to keep giving the rupees, so it's the owner's choice.

If it's not asking too much, could you add the cheats to play as the EBA and a few others to it?

Or, tell me how to add my own? The cheat option won't even show up unless there are already some cheats for it, so I'm not sure how to add any myself.

What do the backlight codes do? Set a certain game at a certain light setting?
