I checked yesterday and today and I still have not been hit luckily. I also backed up my save data and deleted SuMo off my 3DS. So I think I'm probably fine at least I hope so. I was only on the plaza for a couple of minutes to test it out when I was online a few days back.

Can You Access E-Shop?: I don't know but I tried 4 games (Pokemon OR, Pokemon X, Pokemon Shuffle and Disney Magic Kingdom 2) and the online works perfectly. (In Pokemon Shuffle to download update you have to connect with your NNID so I think I can access the E-shop)
