Cart games should work as easily as CIA games (as long as regions match) and Xenoblade definitely works with firmlaunch.

I am having some problems with the latest beta 7 on N3DS XL 9.0.

When i boot Pasta, the 3D screen becomes blurry like the 2 panels aren't synched. If needed i can attach some photos

just close and reopen your 3DS

I just noticed that entering System Settings and then leaving also fixes the problem.

It's the configurator app for GNU/Linux and OS X. I've just added support for FIRM downloading, which was only supported on Windows.

I redid everything going through the instructions again.
However same result, the retail cart wont launch xenoblades.
Always asks to update to 9.4.0-20E.
My n3ds console is Australian, and the game is Australian as well.
I have 9.0.0-20E console.

The 3ds starts in Firmlaunch mode as I made sure firmlaunch is enabled, and when I start Pasta this screen flashes:

"PASTA CFW LOADER
Your system is New 3DS V.9.0 - 9.2

Preparing for firmlaunch
N3DS Key Initialized!
Apply patch for type d...
Preparing ARM 11
Jump!"

Not sure what else to do!!

Anyone overcame this issue with their 3ds launching 9.3+ cartridges?

have you tried without the key? I don't think you're supposed to have that on an N3ds. Even without firmlaunch, you're already using 7+ crypto...

I've yet to get my Xenoblade cart to work. It seems firm launch doesn't prevent games with updates on the cart from wanting to install said update. I have the CIA working just fine though and I used the Nintendo Save Transfer Tool along with the eShop spoofer to salvage my save data.

Watch-out, doing so you are leaving Pasta to come back to normal sysnand.

well, there is an easy fix for that : edit the keybindings of left and right to up and down (you can find them in the main.c file of the cfw_loader source code) once that is done, just compile, use the theme and done ! ^^

Sorry, last time I tried a cart it was on NTR, which skips update prompts. I forgot those exist. =/
Perhaps that Gateway version of RegionThree which launches the cart without the HOME menu to be region free would also bypass update, though that might not work...

Or as stated earlier, dump, install and transfer save. Whatever floats your boat.
