It works! it's working fine on cfg now when it just restarted earlier but USBloader still gives the 001 error but it's working now at least thank you so much for the help Scarlet it was much appreciated

Are you by any chance using a WBFS partition format? are you using Region Free on Priiloader?

When you plug your drive on the PC, doe sit let you open it using windows folder normally, or you need a special software to browser trough games? also, do you have Priiloader Installed?

oh you mean the USB where I have the games? I used WBFS to put the ISO on it was I not supposed to? :o and yeah I have that installed.

Huh my USB just randomly got corrupted and now the game is gone

If your drive is partitioned as a WBFS partition and you used WBFS Manager instead of Wii Backup Manager it's likely the drive is corrupted. WBFS Manager is broken.

Since you have no other apps in the apps folder, you must be using the full channel version of usbloader GX which is very outdated and won't run skyward sword.
You also need a Wiimote with motion+ to run skyward sword.
Read https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx.149922/ for more info on how to install the latest usbloader gx.
I won't worry too much with the syscheck since you already have d2x v8 installed.
If your hdd is corrupted, it is a good time to format it as FAT32 and use wiibackupmanager instead.

lesson learnt - never follow youtube videos and check the release date of any tutorial.

those are Hermes cIOS, hermes cios wered a custom ios patched with trucha bug with plenty of features, they are / were used to load backup games same as Waninkoko / d2x do.

When the Hack Scene was at the highest peak, hermes and waninkoko cios did the same thing, but under different bases and slots, as example, waninkoko always used 249 and 250 [well not always, but let say as default/best choice], were hermes used always 222,223 and 224 and 202, different slots, different bases to get the maximum compatibility to end user.

Nowdays, the best cios are d2x, but it is recommended that cios 202, 222, 223, 224, are installed, just as backup, no need to, but recommended.

I ve lost the ability to write on sdcard using wiiXplorer ... can not erase rename or put new files on it ... not even the new syscheck CSVs are saving

any ideas why ?

pretty much thats a bad SD, just do a memory card test. else, provide a syscheck, cna be the log or captures form tv, but i need to see every cios.
