at least big N is trying for once, thought it will fail till they make DS games 4-8 gb or more.

That game has aged horribly, I would not recommend it to anyone, especially over a DS game when there are so many good titles to choose from, for example the vastly superior Final Fantasy IV.

Also, any PS1 game? There was some total crap graphics wise on the Playstation 1, most of the games worth playing on the DS actually look damn good.

I very much disagree. Final Fantasy 7 may have not aged as well as 8 or 9, but it is still definitely playable. Especially if you enjoy FFIV, they practically look the same. Maybe it looks better because the screen on the DS is smaller, but they still look incredibly similar.

Except that the models in the remake of IV aren't as blocky, and there is a big lack of pre-rendered backgrounds.

Although if you compared the graphics in-battle, 7 is the sure fire winner in the graphics department, however the main gripe I have with Flaregon's post is that he stated "Any PS1 Game looks better than any DS game", and then decided to pull the overhyped game card. Final Fantasy 7 is still a good game, but there are better games out there, especially on the DS where there are a number of high quality RPGs.

The statement about it aging horribly is in contrast to the constant hype it still gains for being "teh bestest rpg evar!11!11shift+1".

To help feed the families of the dozens of people who spent months making that game you love so much. It is this mentality that has brought such piracy to Nintendo's attention. Do not get me wrong I can not say i am any better for downloading my games, but at least I purchase the ones I actually like contributing to good projects that I feel deserve money for there hard work. Yes yes yes we all know Ninty is rich. They aren't going to stop at least hand held pirating in any way soon unless they made the games extremely large .... but then the games would have insanely good graphics. Console pirating maybe considering how the ps3 is right now.
