Misc Nintendo Servers state of the art circa 1985

How the hell can Nintendo Servers be so slow for the sake of the damn 21st century?
I've been downloading Xenoblade X data packs since this morning.
I think browsing BBSes on a C64 was a smoother experience.
Yeah, Quantum Link was already ahead this Nintendo Network.

Took about an hour to download the 10GB packs for me. That's roughly 2.8MB/s.

No problem, and I'm sure you will. It took me about a day to download Fatal Frame so I doubt it'll take that long.

Perhaps it's some European server problem, or perhaps my Wii U.
But it's not my connection, I can download full speed on my notebook on the same WiFi.
I suppose I will let it download on standby during the night.

Hmm strange, here in the US I usually top at around 1.7MB/s which is pretty much my normal wi-fi speed. Hope everything works out though.

I've never had any issues with the Nintendo Network servers. Then again, I have absolutely amazing internet so their connection to me is quite good.

haven't you figured it out by now that they purposely restrict the bandwidth?

Normally get around 3MB/s. Slow compared to Steam and PSN which both max my connection (8.8MB/s).
