Does anyone know if there is an app that makes the ds into a learning or univeral remote? for devices around the home like lights, window blind etc that are remote controlled thru a wireless signal (instead of infrared). is it even possible?

I don't know at all, but this seems like a awesome idea. I'd love to trash my 5 remotes and incorporate them into my DS.

There was an XBMC controller for the DS, that's about it as far as I know. If the device connects through a PC, it's possible to make an app to control it. Maybe even use the local network (if it has a control page) and the ds browser

I've done some fun things with my ds2key. Like one time i was too lazy to start up my winamp so I could listen to slyphampDS so i openned it using my DS and DS2key then I started up slyphamp.
