Menuhax is the entry point that worked for me. OoT 3D hax made the app boot more.

Idk why it's called a soft brick. This brick hit my system just as hard as a normal brick would if I used it to crush my 3ds. Smh

They probably could. I called them on this and tried to see if I could send it in but they want my damn micro sd card. I don't wanna send it in cuz I don't wanna lose my saves.

I don't want to send the sd card because i think that is illegal to downgrade using homebrew, they can call police.

Patient, i havent played my o3ds with rxtools for months. People want badly use rxtools, result? Software brick or worse full brick...Wait for something better, the gateway downgrade from 9.2 to 4.5 was for me safe.

Succesfully downgraded a limited edition (majora's mask) n3ds xl (EU) from 10.3 to 9.2
Today. Sysupdater Worked on my 3rd try without any problems.

Did you format your N3DS before downgrading?

I did. Entrypoint used was menuhax btw.

The first times I tried going to recovery on a soft brick I couldn't, then I tried again and it worked. I did have a Wi-Fi saved on all of my 3 softbricks though... But I doubt they wouldn't add a WiFi configuration thing in recovery mode.

I did it with and without the sd, I pressed before turning on and don't work. When I try to press the safe mode buttons, my n3ds power up for a little bit and then it power off, and then it power up ecc...

in the nintendo website there is wrote that you can't use external device or unofficial programms, I don't know what they can do.

Menuhax worked for me first time. 10.3 to 9.2

Got it to work, Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer bundle USA New 3DS. Was originally on 9.8. It took about 3 or 4 tries to get the whole menu to show up.

Halfway into the installation one .cia file looked like it froze during installing, then my 3DS screen changed to "An error has occured. Please hold the Power button to turn off" and i got hella scared that it failed lol.
Ended up just rebooting the 3DS like normal, it booted up surprisingly. Went to check system settings:

EDIT: Okay, after that downgrade i had problems running the Gateway launcher, or rather any CFW at that. If your downgrade turns out like mine where it spits an Error out and you have to power down your system (it shows on the bottom screen i recall) then you'll have to update back up to 10.3 and try again. Some files didnt get installed and thats probably why my 3DS was acting up.

etc? it did that for me and it's not doing anything else. i'm a little worried to restart
