"In two weeks Metal Gear Online players will have three new maps to play on and Mei Ling to play with. These are some of the things Konami is adding in to Metal Gear Online with the MEME Expansion, the second expansion pack for Metal Gear Online.If you skipped out on the GENE Expansion you can purchase both expansion packs in a bundle for 1,500 yen ($15). The MEME Expansion alone costs 1,200 yen ($12).

In an effort to combat sluggish servers Konami is letting MGO users download the MEME Expansion a week early starting on November 18. However, you won’t be able to actually use any of the content from the MEME Expansion until November 25. What kind of content do you get in the expansion? Here’s a quick rundown."

It's named after the key elements of the games. Each expansion will probably be named after one of the four themes: GENE, MEME, SCENE, and SENSE.

Gene is believed to be the recurring theme in MGS1.(The genome project, Liquid and Solid, etc.)
Meme is believed to be the recurring theme in MGS2.(Pretty much 3/4s of the game was a meme of the first.)
Scene is believed to be the recurring theme in MGS3.(The sudden shift to a new setting, and the fact that it was the origin of all events following it.)
Sense is believed to be the recurring theme in MGS4.(I believe "sense" is referring to the ending of the game, and the whole nanomachine deal.)
