Well I installed it automatically with the HiyaCFW installer. Would there be a way of uninstalling only TWiLight Menu++ or do i need to format my SD card and start over again ?
Is it ok to format my SD card and start over from the beginning or can it cause some problems ?
To remove TWiLight Menu++, go into data management on your DSi, and delete it from there, unless you moved it to your SD Card. To complete the uninstallation, delete nds-bootstrap from your SD Card.

Hello. :)

No,there is no problem of installing it.It is strange when you use the HiyaCFW Helper, that nds-bootstrap should be missing.
If it is ok for you,yes please re-format your SD Card to FAT32/standard Cluster size and do the install again.
Did you make the NAND backup FIRST after the Camera Exploit is done ?

Thank you.:)

Yeah the NAND backup is the first thing i did after the camera exploit. Thanks for your help, I'll just format the SD card and do everything again, it should work.

Hey, I tried this and the file didn't appear in the photo app. I'm currently using a Samsung Chromebook and I've been told the Chromebook formats SD cards to FAT32. I'm using a Nintendo DSi XL "Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Edition" model with 2 SD cards. One is a 4GB Samsung SDHC Class 4, the other is a Toshiba 2GB SD card. Would anyone be willing to help?

Hello.:)

Did you use the correct Exploit Version for YOUR DSi System Software Version ?

The latest release of Memory Pit
Thank you.:)

Thank you, that worked perfectly @alexander1970 ! I've followed the instructions on "dsi . cfw . guide" up until "Installing HiyaCFW". I have a chromebook so is there any way to move on from this point?
Hello.:)

Good to hear you are on the way now.

May i ask please what have you all done already and where are you now on the Guide ? :)

Thank you.:)

@alexander1970 , Instructions, last bullet point, "HiyaCFW Helper". It offers Python and Windows files, which file would I download in order to continue with installing Hiya?

From what I know Python works for Chromebook OS.But I think you maybe have to install Python first but I am sorry,I do not have any experiences with ChromeOS.:(

Do you have maybe a chance to use a Windows PC too ? The HiyaCFWHelper do the following steps for you:

- prepare/decrypt your NAND Backup and copy it to the SD Card
- download the latest TWiLight Menu and copy it to your SD Card

Then your SD Card is ready to use on your DSi.:)

The python version should work on your Chromebook if it's Intel based and if it says Linux when running python and entering
Code:
import platform; platform.system();
. If you have a ARM based Chromebook it will not work due the binaries included with the helper are compiled for x86.

Does this work on a 3ds if you (in some unholy dark magic filled way) have the dsi camera app installed somehow? Just a curious thought, if even you’re not sure, I can provide you with the cia I got from a buddy.

if you have that app installed on a 3ds you have cfw and if you have cfw you don't need this
this is for the dsi to get homebrew access
this is for hacking 3ds's https://3ds.hacks.guide/

But will it work, and boot the nds hb menu? Even if this is useless?
tbh from my understanding probably not, but it could probably be modified to do so.
also no harm in trying tbh and it would only take a minute if you already have said app cia
