So... version 10 got released and I will be honest. When I read the changelog, I was like "What the hell? The 3DS can do that?".

The features are from the cfw. Not from the 3ds dude ;)

I meant that I was shocked the hardware can handle that.

If in doubt, dual-boot. Set 10 as you boot.firm and place 9.1 in the payloads folder to easily switch back and forth.

I'm having an issue updating Luma3DS on my 2DSXL using the updater. I'm trying to upgrade v9.1 to v10. I have attached the screenshot. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix it?

Otherwise press B and try then the update. Or you do it manually. Download the latest release and put the boot.firm and boot.3dsx from the package to the root of your sd card.

Thanks, I manually updated. Didn't realize it was just those two files.

I'm also getting errors trying to update my luma updater from 2.3 to 2.4....yet I can install luma 10. So then I tried installing luma updater 2.4 OVER 2.3 and still I'm asked to update it - giving me errors. So I uninstalled 2.3 and tried re-installing 2.4 and still it says I'm on 2.3.8-somethingsomething. failing to update it. Weird.

Must be leftover files. Try to find and manually delete those then install 2 4.

Anyone having issues with layeredfs? Game patching no longer works after update to version 10

Maybe it has something to do with NTR CFW?

LayeredFS for LumaCFW Version 10 doesn't work anymore for me :[ why is this?

Exactly my point, it would be nice to know that LayeredFS is somehow a part of NTR CFW if it is.

And still no way to reduce screen brightness?

You could check https://gbatemp.net/threads/luma3ds-v10-0-has-been-released.542216/ and are you going on about brightness after its lowered to the lowest settings?
