Doesn't matter since you boot it up in the same way in both instances.

Your issue probably has nothing to do with Luma3DS. If you installed it as CIA downloaded from somewhere, just visit its eShop page and try again.

I clicked on repair software, it said it needed to redownload 8 blocks.
But it seems like it's redownloading the entire thing...

Should have deleted it and reinstalled it. A similar thing happened to me with the same game, but I got ErrDisp come up with an NCCH not valid error, normally meaning the download messed up, which is probably what is happening in your case, so just let it do its thing and it should be fine. Otherwise just uninstall and reinstall with FBI or similar.

Indeed, it's not cryptofixed. The re-download will fix it, but it wasn't necessary. Also, you might take a look at the FBI release that was out 2 days ago (so version 2.2.2) since it has an option to import title seeds, which would have been useful here.
Anyway, as I said this is not really related to Luma3DS. Mods might get angry at us and...

EDIT: you should take the issue over to here for example, if it's still not working after the download is finished.

Why i need to put firmeware.bin on luma's folder to can run sys/emunand? This is actually unessesary isn`t it?

Anyone having trouble using ds flash carts on luma 3ds official v5.5 release? I tried both r4igold3ds and supercard dstwo but both of them just show a black screen. Worked fine on luma 3ds v5.4.

Super smash bros works but no ds games do. If it helps i used a nightly build of luma3ds before i updated to version 5.5.

I want to thank both of you for helping me. That worked and now my ds games and flash carts are now working again using luma 3ds version 5.5.

Yea happened to me too, you just need to install a cryptofixed version and DON'T download from CDN

I am on 5.5 sorry. Got a backup of 5.4 still so should I go back or wait? It's not important but its a hassle but could just find an update myself I guess

* 3ds_injector can now be larger than the original FIRM loader (will allow for more patches)

So does this mean that I am in fact able to load an injector.cxi/loader.cxi?
