Not unless they felt like bricking n3ds users, as they can't get remove a9lh without the OTP (simply overwriting FIRM wouldn't reset the second key in the keystore, which would cause the official firm to decrypt to garbage and brick on boot).
Would they not do that? It wouldn't affect legit clean no-hacks users, but they would just say "we dont support any modifications to the console and problems/incompatibilities it brings".

I don't think it's possible to play a game and go into system settings at the same time...

So how would we be able to play a DSiware game while updating?
?

By the way, couldn't Ninty stop A9LH by making a DSiWare app to override the FIRM protection and force it to be ran when updating or smth then?

If Nintendo do that how will we able to run the app and go to system settings to update? I suppose one can't do both at the same time...
I suppose that going into system settings forces you to quit the game you are playing...

Game? What game? They can run whatever they want from system settings. Hell, isn't the DS settings inside of System settings and a DS mode app? I think you're misunderstanding what I mean?

Ah...I thought they'll force us to download a dsiware game and to play it before/after updating...

I didn't know there where other ways of booting in DS mode than with a DS cartridge or a game...

You can't touch FIRM0 and FIRM1 with Luma on SysNAND, not even with FBI and stuff. I tested it myself. Only happens if you do it from TWL_FIRM (why even?)
Exactly, I downgraded in twl mode. Why? It was 3 AM and I had nothing to do. I didn't wanted a brick, I wanted memchunkhax for fun.

I mean, they have the code to the 3DS' firmware, they can make it do whatever they want and run whatever code they want, correct?

quick question, but do you know that if you had simply downgraded with sysdowngrader, you would still have been able to use memchunkhax, for whatever reason you need it, and keep a9lh+luma ? (as luma loads firm from ctrnand, not from firm partitions)

No, I have a proof video. The native firm is loaded before firm0/firm1 is loaded. The 3ds will see that it is downgraded and you'll get a brick.

Lol. I Have Downgraded my 11.1 A9LH N3ds to 11.0 whit Sysupdater.Cia. 5 files + Native_Firm was Flashed. Whitout Problems!

question,i have Sysnand A9LH luma3DS 6.2.1 i think
i only need to go to system settings and update from there?
or i should check on an option in luma3DS settings first?

i checked the option "use Sysnand FIRM if booting with R(A9LH)"

so,i should boot with R and then update?

Yes, time to update your 3ds. it's always safe with luma.

Unless he uses NTR CFW, which doesn't yet work with 11.1 natively.
