Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

hello, I have a problem with pokemon omega ruby and moster hunter 3 ultimate, I have luma3ds v5.5 with coolboot ( I have rxtools too) emunand 11.0.0-33 and sysnand 9.2.

I installed the games in question using fbi 2.2.6 and everything was going well and appeared gift and opened it up there all right, but when I open the game, after the typical screen that says Nintendo 3DS screen goes black and throws me an error:

An error has occurred. Hold down the power button to turn off the console . Then turn it and try again.

I have no idea what to do , other games like mario & luigi the dream team , fire emblem awakening and fates , etc ...Work perfectly but these two I mentioned before give me that error and I really want to play them.

Go to the eshop and tepeir the downloads. Also, install freeshop.

Getting a new SD card can be a bit tricky.

Make sure it is formatted to FAT32

In many cases like yours I have suggested to people to re download the Luma3DS arm9Loaderhax.bin file and place it on the new SD card therefore replacing the old one. Hopefully that helps.

I am quoting both of you, one to teach, the other to correct.

Using FBIv2 you do not need to go to the eShop. Load up the latest FBI and look for the selection called Titles. Look for the game you installed. Select that game for another list of options. You will then select the option that says Import seed. This should fix your red wave screen issue.

The reason for this is because Nintendo includes another layer of encryption on game titles introduced on or after 9.6. This is called the Seed.

Games will still install, but they won't play without this seed.

After following the guide... In the last step:


Section VI - Finalizing setup

1. Reinsert your SD card into your 3DS
2. From EmuNAND Manager Options, make a backup of SysNAND to sysNAND.bin
3. Press Select on the main menu to eject your SD card, then put it in your computer
4. Rename sysNAND.bin to sysNAND-A9LHAX.bin, sysNAND.bin.sha sysNAND-A9LHAX.bin.sha, and copy both to a safe location on your computer; this is a SysNAND backup containing arm9loaderhax (Your backup should match one of the sizes on this page; if it does not, you should delete it and make a new one!)
5. Delete sysNAND-A9LHAX.bin and sysNAND-A9LHAX.bin.sha from your SD card
6. Reinsert your SD card into your 3DS then press Start to reboot
7. Update your CFW SysNAND to the latest version using system settings (if it is not already)
   
   N3ds doenst start. Blue Light on. Screen always black.
   
   Nothing happens. Pressing Select, Start; A... Nothing.
   
   The update was done from Luma3ds, its suposed to happen?
   
8. Open Health and Safety (which is now FBI)
9. Select "SD"
10. Navigate to hblauncher_loader.cia and press A to install
11. Navigate to lumaupdate.cia and press A to install
12. Exit with the home button
13. Launch the Homebrew Launcher from the home menu icon at least once to ensure the payload is functional
14. Reboot!

Nevermind I fixed e.e just reinstalling the .cia

can someone link me a download of their config file for luma3ds. my start button doesn't work anymore so i have no way of exiting the config menu during the first setup. all i need activated is the "show nand in settings" bc im in the a9lh guide right now,

yeah i can't. i can't open it up.

edit:

i have a feeling it has nothing to do with the plastic button itself. i think it's something on the motherboard. which i can't exactly fix that.
