Actually I've been told that you're suppose to use the anti-freeze patch first. And I already figured it out. For those who used Rudolph's Freeze Patch, you pick HGE_P2.patch/ SSE_P2.patch.

it works perfectly fine with rudolph's. rudolps needs a clean rom though.

are your pidgeys getting annoyingly rare?
cuz i've been playing for like 2 hours (without freezing =D) and no pidgey has apeared like OMG, is this a problem from the patch?

was very annoying...
Oh, I've got a question - 'till I'm here - Could it be posible to make a version of the patch for the next release with Rudolph's anti-freeze patch ? It's really effective with lots of r4, acecards and so forth, so it would be interresting I think.

(Sorry if I made mistakes in my post I'm french and my English is still not perfect, so if you could just tell me if I made non-senses or so, it'd be OK

Love the new patch but when i try to use the pokegear it crashes

I tried patching the game but it still doesn't work, I still get 0 kb file, I have a xenophobia file, don't know if it will make a difference

Anyone comfirm it is successfull with CycloDs firmware 1.55? I want to try it when i get a chance. Another question, does anyone understand what's causing the crashes/freezes when you guys said you bypassed the Anti-piracy thing?

So basically, I've spent ages on this crap.
I've tried both M3Real Firmware & M3iSakuReal & I still haven't managed to get a working copy.
It also seems that an arm7 patch will fix the save issue (thru the game, not savestate), however I still seem to get the freezes every 10-20 minutes.
I have also tried changing the time on my DS (i.e. to confuse the clock) = didn't work
If somebody can link me to G6DS Real firmware or R4DS Real firmware, I would be willing to try those.
But otherwise, no patches are 100% working, if at all.

I had no problems patching a new clean rom. I did have problems patching a already patched rom.

Favorite Pokeon HG/SS patch. It has everything the other's have patched and much more. I see great potential for this patch. Version 3 from your homepage looks VERY promising; having the beginning translated is very helpful. This patch's translations are actually much more accurate than the others out there. This patch has been working perfectly for my Acekard 2.1 with the HGE_P2/SSE_P2 versions. no freezing what so ever, very nice work. Keep it up.

EDIT: Got some minor glitching that I didn't have before, switched back to V1 anti-freeze patch, works perfectly.

Hey guys I've used the first patch released that fixed piracy check (no translation), can i still use this on the same rom?

Else If i patch using a clean rom with kazo's patch, does it do translation ONLY or piracy checks fixed are also included?

kohkindachi, keep your old SAV. find an unpatched version of the game. Load the patcher, select HGE_2 or SSE_2 for a piracy fix and a translation. Click Patch. Rename old SAV to patched ROM. Viola
Nerdii, If you're using Snow Leopard (may not work, unsure compatibility.) or just Leopard download and install Darwine (google it) . If You're a Tiger user, find your Tiger install disk, install X11, then install Darwine. try through that (not sure if itll workk)
