All right, so I got my 3ds hardmodded and downgraded by the very professional hardmodder vb_encryption_vb.
Where do I start to install arm9 myself? Part 3 of Plailect's guide? RedNAND? Or what?
Also, how would I go about keeping the dsiware I have on my 3ds, and the savedata with it?

Yes, once your 3DS is on 9.2, you can start at part 3.
And if you do everything as the guide says, you won't lose anything :)

Thank you. :) Also, it doesn't seem like I have menuhax installed. Don't I need a way to install it, or some way to get to the homebrew menu first?
Would browserhax work?

Okay. It seems like all the files needed for rednand are already there. What do I do now?
I was told my emunand and rednand wasn't set up. Do I set up emunand from emunand9 now? I have the backup of my sysnand and the SD card backup.

One last question, the hardmodder spoke of flashing the backup of my nand to get all my games back. How do I do that?

With A9LH installed?
You need to use your original SysNAND backup (I assume that's what you were using before installing A9LH) and restore it with Decrypt9 with the "keep A9LH" option. Be sure to make another NAND backup before just in case.

Thank you for the quick answer. I just booted into luma and the version number doesn't say Emu in front like Plailect's guide says. I don't know what to do now..

No, I was finishing up Part 3 of Plailect's guide, RedNAND.
I was booting Luma up and checking the system version for rednand, but it doesn't say emu in front. That's all I got to.

I deleted config.bin from the luma folder and rebooted luma, checking the "show nand in system settings" thing. I'm waiting for it to boot up right now, it's at a black screen.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

It's not booting. I'm gonna try a different version of luma.

That's really weird. Did anything special happen when you created emuNAND?

I created rednand, it doesn't say anything in the guide about setting up emunand just yet.
But no, nothing special happened.

EDIT: The other version of luma worked. Weird.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
