So there's quite a bad wrap for the m3i zero as a product that's no longer supported, but there still seems to be firmware updates rolling out.

Is there anything I should know about the card? Such as reliable sources for updates?

Also I know custom kernels were locked out, but is there any word on workarounds such as a modified version of the stock firmware?

you didn't do your research before purchasing, did you? You should have gone with an Acekard 2i. Especially since the Z003 model isn't supported by any current 3rd party loaders. If I were you, you may be able to sell the m3 to some poor sap on craigslist and then buy yourself the Acekard. You may have to take it as a loss though and just toss the m3 in the trash or in a drawer. Sure you could play any game that came out before they stopped updating with it but nothing that's been released since then will work, short of using a patch on each of those games.
