There's a whole section about unauthorized modifications in the ToS you have to accept when you first connect online. I'd probably have to format my Wii U to reread it and for obvious reasons I'm not doing that.

The safest method is:

1. use RedNand with mochacfw
2. delete your user account/NNID in RedNand
3. create a new user account in RedNand
4. delete wifi settings in RedNand

then you can simply delete RedNand (and create a new one) once BOTW comes out officially

I don't understand the determination to prove that it is safe to play a pirated copy of a game and to speak with such authority.

Saying with 100% certainty that you will not get banned is irresponsible. No one currently knows - it isn't worth the risk

Guys, what if the early EUR download on Nintendo's server was a bait in order to catch pirates? Maybe the leaked version is different from the one in the eShop on release date. Imagine if it contained malicious dormant stuff.

By far it looks normal.
But the guy who uploaded the game took a picture of the game.. So the only chances are that he's a guy from Nintendo but it doesn't look like that..
And even if it is true, why only the european version??

I don't mean that there would be visual differences. There could be silent differences in the code that could communicate with Nintendo telling them that it's a pirated copy and maybe they could log infect your system with some malicious stuff that will trigger in a few months or something. Extremely unlikely, that's just a conspiracy scenario that I made up in my head but they could actually have put a jagged version. Why the EU only? Well it kind of make it look more like a legitimate error on their side maybe. I don't know man, it's just a crazy theory leave me alone.

There is no sysupdate, only a game update.

You can play without ban if you put on your DNS (it is optionnal because non online functions)

What version update is on the disk and do you need internet to play the game? Also is it safe and will not break any usb loaders in wii mode?

No, they banned people who went online before the release, nothing to do with the version.

I bought it monday: there was the first update. But yestarday, another update was available ( day one patch). I've installed it, but there is no internet needed to play (i play one hour before installing with the internet the second update).
