just a quick question plz, so sorry if its been asked already. but i need to update my USA wii to 3.2 (i think) and this disk contains an update ive read, so will wii scrubbing it mess up the update in any way? is there any risk to my wii running a dvd5 in this way off dvd9 iso. my chip is wiinja deluxe

the update wont harm your usa wii at all , it will update it to the 3.2u and it runs just fine from the dvd5. I ran the update on my usa wii with a dvd5.

Does the mail.dol you provided get rid of the error 001? I have a pretty old openwii that couldn't run a backed up copy of SMG.

gonna try this out, is there anything specific you want to know about whether it works or not?

believe it or not, I may be the last person on earth who is still using wabmodcheap to load discs. I havent had success with dual layer ssbb so far, i thought it was because of a bad laser but i think its just not supported in the code

does anyone knw if wiinja deluxe needs to be on v4 for this to work? i.e. does ssbb use the smg drive check thing or can i stick with my v3 fm

I'm having problems with the compressed image. After running the iso through Wiiscrubber I get a 4.7Gb image. I tehn try to load that image in Trucha Signer, but I get the error, "Error reading FST". Can someone tell me how to resolve that?

Sounds like you dont have the correct key.bin file or havent selected custom key set 1 in Trucha

I did everything mentioned in the guide + the following:
- 1st attempt, I also brickblocked + regionfrii. game shows on the wii but when i try to load i get black screen
- 2nd attempt, did nothing else. didn't brickblocked nor wiifrii and still black screen. the game didn't ask to update.

I've pal wii 3.0E and wiikey 1.9g
any suggestions guys?

btw, i tried to change the update.inf with the new prophet.inf but trucha didn't let me, saying file size must be smaller or equal. do i need to replace it before i scrubber the ISO?

Well I had no luck in finding key.bin, so I copied and pasted the key into notepad and saved it as a key.bin. I don't know if it was the correct way to create the key.bin, but it let me compress the iso, I just can't load it in Trucha whereas with the none-wiiscrubbed image it loads fine. I thinkyo'ure right about the key.bin, and I have selected custom keyset 1.

I'm not sure what else to do.

Thats not the way to create the key.bin file....and i cant help you out in locating it either because its a copyrighted file that cant be uploaded here

You need to update to at least 3.1E fist otherwise it won't work.

i kind of actually think this is a good way for people to learn how to use trucha. i'd recommend no one putting this up on torrents
