Sorry, had a bug displaying the correct number of loaded files.
Try version 0.9a: https://github.com/Maschell/hid_to_vpad/releases/tag/0.9a
Does it still say no valid files found?

I also improved the deadzone handling.

Here a qoute from @PeeJay Bonobo
Let's say you have a config file that looks like this
VPad_L_Stick_X=0x03,0x80
VPad_L_Stick_X_MinMax=0x00,0xFF
VPad_L_Stick_X_Deadzone=0x0A
Which means, movement counts from 76 to 00, and 8A to FF.
However, when you set the deadzone, when you reach 76, it counts as 76 on the gamepad. And 0x86 counts as 0x86
Now the 0x76 counts as 0x80 and 0x86 as 0x80. The sticks postions are now scaled to the valid area.

Seems to be working now. Holding either stick completely up or down causes them to input the opposite direction but that seems like a problem with the controller config. Otherwise great app

HID to VPAD is a good tool, but I had some questions...

1."config.ini" need ANSI code? not UTF-8...
2.HID TEST app returns joystick (BUTTON) code the part of incorrect
so my ini Always fail... use nintendont code OK!
Ex:

CORRECT(from Nintendont / controllerconfigs)
A=0x04,0x20
B=0x04,0x10
X=0x04,0x40
Y=0x04,0x80

INCORRECT(HID TEST response)
A=0x04,0x48
B=0x04,0x28
X=0x04,0x88
Y=0x04,0x18

But, D-PAD(DPAD_HAT), Sticks(need Manually calibration), L1/L2/L3, R1/R2/R3 OK!

3.Sometimes, I cant' control in game, maybe touch gamepad...Powersaving
4.It's mapping gamepad's button? If use "display off", the vpad out...

Wii U console (USA 5.5.1)

In Captain Toad,Mario 3D World, the left Stick does not work properly, as it should move to the diagonal, move diagonally it is hard.
low deazone moves better but the character turns to the side or walk backwards

but this problem happens only in a few games. in Splatoon and Starfox zero do not have this problem.

It is possible to use the mouse in absolute mode, to Pentablet Wacom ?

How do I use this with Loadiine? Specifically, I would like to remap the Wii U Gamepad's buttons for DS games. I have HID turned on in Loadiine, but it just gives me the default button layout once I boot up the game. I made a config file and it is working, but not with Loadiine games. For example, I wanna play Dawn of Sorrow and switch the bumpers and triggers on the Wii U Gamepad. How do i do that?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just had to update Loadiine. It's working perfectly now.

I downloaded the latest loadiine and using my ps3 controller isn't working correctly. The left stick doesn't register left or right, up moves left and down moves right.

I'm a little bit excited guys: Yesterday I started to look the the Pro Controller spoofing and got first results!



Here some notes:
- You don't need any Wiimote/Pro Controller connected
- At the moment, it can ONLY use the GC adapter (but all four ports!) and everything is kinda hard coded / hacky.
- I still need to find a way to configurate everything user friendly (Which USB is spoofing which WiiU Controller etc.) Any Idea? A new .ini file? In the Splashscreen?
- As soon as I connect a real Wiimote/Pro Controller, the WiiU freezes
- Only works ingame (I need to get the connection callack), and only tested one game so far (Maybe other games won't work yet)

Don't except any release in near future, a LOT of work is still needed to be done.

that happen to me as well, for some reason using the HiDTest fixes the issue

Did you create a controller config file, or just run HidTest?
