I am trying to install CIOS to vWii on my Wii U; my end goal is to install Fakemote to vWii and use PS4 controller
I don't have a physical Wii Remote, so I use Wiimote Emulator instead

It works fine on the Wii U menu, the Wii menu, and in the Homebrew Channel. But as soon as I open the d2x CIOS installer - the console doesn't recognize any input anymore, even though WiimoteEmulator is synced with the console.
As I understand - the d2x CIOS installer doesn't recognize emulated Wiimote, since I read online that there are the same issues with third-party Wiimotes not working in the app.

Is there any other way to install CIOS on vWii?

I know that some homebrew apps have extra controller support for Wii U gamepad, or HID controllers (like Nintendon't), but for the d2x CIOS installer it doesn't seem to be the case

P.S. I know that you can buy Wiimote for a moderate price, but my goal is to install Fakemote without usin an actual Wiimote.
Yes, that's probably a stupid and impossible goal, but I still want to achieve it
