The next time I see my brother I'll ask him for a DS4 pad.

----

I'm a little bit excited guys: Yesterday I started to look the the Pro Controller spoofing and got first result!

Here some notes:
- You don't need any Wiimote/Pro Controller connect
- At the moment, it can ONLY use the GC adapter (but all four ports!) and everything is kinda hard coded / hacky.
- I still need to find a way to configurate everything user friendly (Which USB is spoofing which WiiU Controller etc.) Any Idea? A new .ini file? In the Splashscreen?
- As soon as I connect a real Wiimote/Pro Controller, the WiiU freezes
- Only works ingame (I need to get the connection callack), and only tested one game so far (Maybe other games won't work yet)

Don't except any release in near future, a LOT of work is still needed to be done.

I just want to thank you for your huge dedication to this! This is amazing!! I can't wait to use it in the future! Greetings from Germany! :)

Hey
I need someone with 2 or more (best-case would be 4) controller of the same type (e.g. 2-4 DS3 controllers would be great). PM me or join #loadiinegx on abjects.

Puh,I made some progress today!

Now I can use any controller. Even up to 4 of the same type! Only the keyboard/mouse combo is broken.

Made a simple GX2 gui (checkout my twitter for pics)

Fixed =)

Working now in systemmenu and games like sm3dw!!!

It still has some bugs (random crashes) and missing features, but I'm make great process. The longest part will be cleaning up the code though.

But for now, time to sleep :P

Holy s**t dude that's amazing. I am such a fan of the GameCube controller (specifically the WaveBird) and using it to drive the system just after boot without using a Mayflash adapter would be awesome! Would it apply to the vWii as well?

Seriously, that's a labour of love right there, and what good homebrew is all about. If I use this and even at early stages it works as well as I'd hoped (random crashes aside) I'd seriously consider making a donation if you accept them.

Enjoy your sleep, sounds like you earned it!

This is still the most interesting thread for me at the moment. Congratulations and please keep up the good work! Bravo!

I'm just catching up with the progress made in the last few days and all these new features look amazing. HID to VPAD really made gaming on the Wii U so much more enjoyable for me, since the GameCube Pad is by far my most favorite controller to use. Thanks again for all your hard work @Maschell, really appreciate it!

Holy crap! YES!! :D

Thats what I currenty have:

Main Window: http://puu.sh/qyPgv/98a8ff18c1.jpg
When I click on a button: http://puu.sh/qyQEL/cb18d1e8e2.jpg

But idk, the colors are strange, the buttons are strange and the layout it strange.
It also need to display some more informations (like on the "old" screen https://www.reboot.ms/vd/hid_to_vpad_screen.jpg) and a place for credits. I need be simply though.
But the basic Idea is to have these 5 buttons, and when you click on them, you can bind any USB controller. This and a cool way to display the other information, instructions and credits (maybe a splash screen at the beginng and you have to press a button to configurate the pro controller)

We also need to choose between the "old hid to vpad" (every usb device to the gamepad and the "new" (each controller gets one usb device)

Last edited by Maschell,
Any chance this design could include a menu for mapping controller buttons in a user-friendly manner?

What do you mean by "mapping" adding and configurate support for new controller? Probably like no chance, would be way too much effort, while the current method is "fast enough" (takes like 5 minutes?)
