Wouldn't it just be easier to use Godmode9 to convert the .3ds to a .cia? In the image options that's one of the choices.

I could look into that. I should also remove the step of installing the cia for cartridge users, as it's unecessary

Maybe if you followed the guide, you'd see that there's a CoinKiller download that has a precompiled .exe.

You'll have to take a risk and download it off of a DLL site. Put that in coinkiller's folder or register it.

Download and install both the x64 and x86 versions of the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable here:

This guide already uses GodMode9 to extract the romfs.

If there's a new way to do it that I don't know about, instead of making a new guide, I would appreciate if you told me what it was, so I can check it out for myself and edit the guide to suit it.

I PMed you it. Explaining it might take a bit of work for my autistic brain so I sent the edits to you. Step 1 and 3 got mostly minor edits (removing that tool). Step 2 was changed the most, which removes the mini section and also removes the need to build a CIA using the TMD file, instead directly opening the .app file contained with the game. It also includes a full section on dumping a physical copy of the game.

Nice! Now there are just two minor issues: font size in the Physical Copy Guide, and also in the Setting Up Coinkiller section, Step 5 says to talk about the folder made in Step 6.

Will fix it, and I tried fixing the font size, it's not possible.
