Ok, so the origional OoT Engine was just a "Hacked" SM64 Engine.

What im curious about, is would it be possible to "Hack" The SM64DS Engine, to make *****?

Ok, ill stop there. Not gonna mention the title.

Not a request, just a question. Is it possible.

Not without the SM64DS source code.
I wouldn't call it hacked. I would call it heavily modified by the developers. Hacked makes it sound like it was a homebrew project.

Halflife is a modified quake engine, but I really doubt you can remake quake by modifing data files. When engines are modified, the modifications can be really deep.
