In a recent interview, the head of Camelot software planning, Hiroyuki Takahashi, was asked about Golden Sun.
Although nothing seems to be in the works right now, "if there are enough Nintendo users asking for another game in the Golden Sun series, then this will naturally lead to the development of such a game."
I don't usually give a damn about fan petitions, but this time they actually ask for it.

Personally, I've always loved Golden Sun more than any other RPG and sincerely hope it doesn't end with that cliffhanger and questions rasied in not so well received Dark Dawn.
