hi,
my dual shock 3 gave up and the left stick sticks most of the time in up position. I opened it, tried to clean it, tried lubricant but nothing helps. next would be to replace the whole stick. but I can't find the right replacment. model cechzc2e. not my picture but looks like this. seems different to all those xbox / ps2 / ps3 sticks.
next would be to use alternative gamepad. I got a dual shock 4, old wired logitech rumblepad 2 and 8bitdo adapter. ds4 over bluetooth does only work in some games, rumblepad 2 has a wrong button layout. then I found ps3xpad plugin which supports xbox gamepads, through 8bitdo xinput mode, all buttons work, even ps button but there is extreme input lag. someone know what might cause this? maybe there is too much input translation inbetween. ps4 -> xinput -> ps3. I think 8bitdo dinput mode reacts a little bit better, but even with adding new config in ps3xpad, most buttons doesn't work.
EDIT:
I found a line in the config file of ps3xpad for responsive time, now 8bitdo is perfectly useable. 8bitdo adapter, a true allrounder.
