I was prepared for another disappointment, like with the emulators and so-called pdf viewer.
But I consider this a success! It plays standard divx/xvid avi's, wmv's and mp3s, so I am happy!
I was not surprised that it does NOT really play .mkv's and HD, but why must they lie about it?

it plays mkv videos i try them the don't look good but in lower resolutions should be watchable

Does it load the subtitle on Mkv format?

nope you need external sub

Hm, I tested a 480p MKV (converted/extracted softsubs, those work fine) and it laaaaaaaaaags - like 2 or 3 fps

[Doki-Chihiro] Motto To LOVE-Ru - 03 (848x480 h264 AT-X AAC) [CDEE5B61].mkv

:V

XviDs play perfectly though

I wonder how long it's going to take before people stop complaining about this?

Fix'd.
Thanks

People really need to stop complaining so much about Supercards, if they don't like it so much, why do they keep it?

Also I am giving this thing a few tests, woot!

well i am done testing the video player is ok it works it is a great alternative for those that don't like to convert to dpg in their DSTWO must of the time avi converting is faster that dpg anyway i probably start releasing videos in avi too for the new player but after i find a way to fix the frame jumping on the videos or i reduce it as much as possible

This may be a dumb question, but does this still support DPGs?

Also, does this support AAC (M4A)s?
It should still play DPG, because the iPlayer did, but I'm not sure about M4A. It'll probably play though as it's a commonly used format.

[*]FLV looks like DPG? Fucking duh. FLV's a shit-quality low-bitrate format in the first place... ON PURPOSE, because it's meant for web streaming. Try getting your videos somewhere other than youtube (where they're post-processed anyways) if you want to test quality.

I deserved that and so you made my day.

I was only curious to see how it would look since it says it supports flv files.

Some media formats which can be played with DSTWO iPlayer?

Video: RMVB/RM/FLV/WMV/ASF/AVI and etc (the resolution under 480P can be played smooth, and supports .srt sub file)
Audio: MP3/WMA/APE/FLAC and etc.

Lol at those first screenshots. Showing '720p-bluray-x264' mkv files. Someone might take those screenshots literally and.. woops.. Sorry no refunds

if this thing would also play dpg file i would make it my default player but i still need moonshell for my dpg i dont want to waste them

I put _ds2video in root,
the plug files are in the imenu folder
I'm still getting white screen..so I have no idea what I'm doing wrong

Oh, wanting to play an FLV is fine (as people often upload custom-created videos to youtube you won't find elsewhere), however quality should not be expected from an FLV.

did you make an ini for it and make sure the ini is pointing to the plg file in the iMenu folder?
