i am using iMenu!!!

I got the same thing, just format my sd and same result
also using imenu

well i keep testing videos in many resolutions going from 720 to 192 and the videos play best in the actual ds resolution of 256 X 192 and that was to be expected the video look the almost same as a dpg video and the file size in some cases been smaller that the dpg but the dpg still looks better a little

White Screen here, too.
Tried it with EOS 1.8 stored on a SanDisk Class 2 4GB MicroSDHC Card running on a DS lite.
Only Alteration on EOS is the Pipboy3k2 skin.

Edit: Forgot to say, white screen comes right when I try to start the player, way before I could try to open any videofile.
Tried renaming the folder that holds the player as well as formating the SDcard.

I just tested the flv in it's 320x240 format and it plays fine. Looks a lot like a DPG quality wise, but it's better than trying to convert files. I've never had much luck with that, as my audio always unsyncing in the conversion.

I'm hoping with future updates this will get improved. But so far it's a nice alternative to Moonshell.

EDIT: I just watched the video in that quality on youtube, so it;'s safe to assume it looks like that because of the originating file looking the same.

I remembered that I had the same problem with the iPlayer flashcard.

My O.S is Ubuntu Linux. Just get it to work when the iPlayer
unzip the software using Windows.

When I do the procedure using Linux for some reason does not work.

With this software the same thing happened.

Now is working .

Well whaddaya know. That's strange. I had the same thing happen to me, and I thought you were just joking around a bit, but after actually unzipping it with Win7 and putting it on my µSD, it worked.

But I consider this a success! It plays standard divx/xvid avi's, wmv's and mp3s, so I am happy!
I was not surprised that it does NOT really play .mkv's and HD, but why must they lie about it?

it plays mkv videos i try them the don't look good but in lower resolutions should be watchable

It plays .mkv....it even has external sub support....

As for HD, it's like trying to run PCSX2 on a weak computer; It'll work, but it's slow and not really worth all the trouble. Standard Res works for a 3-INCH SCREEN for me.

One awesome thing too is that it plays AUDIO, making moonshell COMPLETELY unesscesary, so there's a free slot in Imenu/DSTWO menu

[*]The DS's resolution is 256x192 per screen. If you want to put that in fancy video terms, that's 192p. This means that the difference between a 480p and 1080p video CANNOT BE SEEN since they're all downsampled to 192p anyways.

[*]Anybody expecting an SoC that fits in a DS cart and retails for $35 to be capable of downsampling modern highly-encoded (such as MPEG-4) HD video down to 192p at more than a few FPS needs to rethink any career in video processing/editing they have until they learn some more of the basics.

The container format (AVI/MPG/MP4/MOV) is only part of the video's type.

If you're using a converted divx video type with a video bitrate of 128, it's going to look shittier than DPG, but if you raise the bitrate to something more acceptable/common (such as 1008-1920) it'll look better because your source looks better. Of course, this is assuming the original video file you have has a higher bitrate than that, because as we all (should) know, you can't run something through a converter and raise some numbers to create quality that wasn't there in the first place.

[*]FLV looks like DPG? Fucking duh. FLV's a shit-quality low-bitrate format in the first place... ON PURPOSE, because it's meant for web streaming. Try getting your videos somewhere other than youtube (where they're post-processed anyways) if you want to test quality.

When did THEY say it would? Notice the caps. When did the supercard team (not some random know-nothing forum-goer that thinks HD is a measurement of quality and not resolution) say it'll play your HD MKV videos?
