it just said 404 in big black writing that means page not found right ?

Um... It wouldn't give you that kind of 404 error if you were telling the truth. That page uses AJAX so it would have just popped up an error message or done nothing.

You remind me of SaphireSurf.....

Actually, you're right.
It would have shown the same shit if the page did exist.
The only way to 404 on the Nintendo site would be to make up a totally random folder and/or page, or to drop the internet or server connection for a slight moment. :/

So the OP is saying, that as soon as he clicked on the mysterious link, the server (or his internet) had a short connection-drop just in time to display a 404. :/

Exactly right, to be more specific it takes you to a page called nintendo.co.au - Footer that contains the words "No content", and OP couldn't really recover a full screengrab as in the cache everything's saved singular, so every button, music file, picture etc would be in it's own desktop and since a webpage is made up of different images to make the background and the linked buttons you can't produce a picture that would look legit, hell even the button would be easy to shop.

If you really want to view the cache still OP then in firefox download cache viewer and lurk with that.

Meh, I don't see what's so amazing about a VC on the DSi either. I mean, we can practically emulate anything from Nintendo nowadays >_>

Well yes, but if I recall, DSiWare can be ripped (see the recent demo for the Miles Edgeworth game for an example). This means that Nintendo themselves would be providing an easier way to emulate specific older systems, such as the GBA (likely) or the SNES (possibly). For those of us that don't have an EZFlash or a DSi with an iPlayer, GBA Emulation is presently impossible. Also, SNES emulation is spotty at best for anyone on the DS.

Though knowing NoA's track record for the VC releases means we'll be getting plenty of crap people don't even bother downloading.... (Seriously? You expect us to pay for "Pinball"? )

If Nintendo was going to announce something like that, it would be on the Japanese site, not the Australian site

The Miles Edgeworth demo is not DSiWare...

What mysterious update are you talking about?
there was an update released for the DSi a few hours ago but we cannot find any changes in it and it still says 1.4u

That's weird, do flashcart still work on it? And is it only in the US or in other regions too?
