I was playing Pokémon Black 2 and I had no problem but since I updated to the latest version of TWiLightMenu when starting the game I got a Bootstrap error and it does not start

Hello. smiley_emoticons_seb_zylinder.gif

Does DS mode work for most games or will i have to switch DSi mode for them?
The DS Mode is preferred for most of the Games.:)

From the TWiLight FAQ/Manual:
DSi-Enhanced games currently won't work in DSi mode.
If you have a DSi with Unlaunch, you can set Unlaunch as a Slot-1 launch method, and launch the cartridges in DSi mode.

The DSi Mode "helps" some for Example Homebrew/Applications/Emulators to run "better".

Thank you.:)

Hey Robz, just wanted to say thanks for the awesome job getting DSTT(i) functional. I have a problem where sometimes, while booting into TWLMenu++ on the DSTTi while using the DSi Menu Theme, TWLMenu will completely lock up and become unresponsive. I have not encountered this on other themes, and specifically I have extensively tested the 3DS Menu Theme without replicating the issue there. Do you know why this might happen and if it can be fixed?

If the music doesn't freeze, then it's a libnds/libfat issue, and is unknown if it can be fixed.
Usually, the lockups can be fixed by closing the console's lid to put the console in sleep mode, and then opening the lid back up.

Try turning on SCFG access for Slot-1, if you haven't yet.
Hmm, I remember that setting existing when I was running the CIA on 3DS, but I don't see it in the flashcart version's settings. I'm also noticing a lot of distortion in the DSi Menu Theme music... But that's inconsistent too. I'm trying to reproduce the lockup to ensure the music does freeze, but I'm pretty sure it does.

You need to enable the setting in the 3DS SD card side.

Ah, maybe turn off music then?
If that doesn't fix it either, then you're probably out of luck.
No worries. Music off doesn't seem to fix but using a different theme does, and that doesn't bother me. Just thought I should bring it to your attention since I believe the DSi Menu Theme is set by default. Thanks again.

Bug Report: Entering Sleep Mode on v16.6.0 causes audio to be laggy and does not enter into Sleep Mode at all, I've tested this with two games
Pokémon Platinum (Spain): Causes the audio to be laggy and audio offsyncs in some parts like the intro.
Newer Super Mario Bros. DS: The "Come back!" and "Mario Time!" when entering Sleep Mode loops over and over.

I'm playing on a N3DSXL. I've downgraded to v16.5.0 and this doesn't happen.

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
