Where did you tell the dumper to dump to? It should have had you specify an output directory...

What version of the game do you have? My mod pack is for the US version...


When does it freeze? What's the error code?

Freezes right after the "Smash for Wii U" logo (you know, when it plays the little jingle?) with this error:

"Error Code: 150-3034 - If there is an SD Card in your console, please remove it, turn off the console, and then try again."

oddly enough @AyanamiRei1 tested my pack and had no problems with it whatsoever. I wonder if I should reformat my SD card..

Yes, I'd try that. Also, delete the DCIM folder if you have one. If that doesn't work, try another SD card. The SD card readers on the Wii U are weird, and different models don't have the same SD card readers for some reason... My SD card works on my Wii U, but not my roommates. I have a launch model (white) and he has a 1-year post-launch (black) model, so I assume they swapped out to a cheaper/better/different SD card reader at some point in the production process after the console's launch.

Well, now I have a different issue. It just kinda, stopped working. Like I reformatted my sd card (Fat32), and now when it boots I dont get an error (yay), but instead it doesnt change anything (yay..). Any ideas? I'm using the same process every time, loading Kernel, then SD Cafiine.

Edit: Have you ever just.. not used your brain for a few hours? The files werent in the numbered folder. Wow I feel stupid..

Same error though, two separate SD cards with no luck ://

Unfortunately, I'm kind of at a loss... If it's working on a friend's system, but not yours... It has to be a hardware issue, I think?

Any chance your friend can use your SD card? (not sure if that's physically possible, depending on where your friend is located...) Only reason I ask is because my SD card doesn't work in my roommate's Wii U.

Unfortunately, I'm kind of at a loss... If it's working on a friend's system, but not yours... It has to be a hardware issue, I think?

I'm going to try to get a friend over soon so they can test it. To be fair, both of these SD cards might be dying. The one was being used by my 3ds for a good 4 1/2 years, and the other came from my friend's 3ds which was about 5 years (Its the card that came with his original system). Might need to just suck it up and buy a new card. I really really hope it isnt a problem with my Wii U, because I'm not sure what I'd do then.

Hey there, dt00/dt01/sl don't seem to be downloading/updating through uwizard when I try to get the newest patch of Sm4sh. I tried placing the elder versions in there and updating again to have it replace them, but no dice. Maybe it's saving somewhere else, I'm not sure, but it's not there. And I can clearly see lines saying it IS downloading them through uwizard's prompt. Any advice?

Those are the only three files uwizard doesn't seem to want me to have.

Those 3 files are from a game dump. UWizard does not provide full game dumps as it needs at title key (which are only found in the full games).
I see. I have both of those already, but I wasn't told to enter anything but the Title ID of the game I needed to get the updated dt/sl files. 288's updated files are all I need now, I have the base from my game dump. The tutorial I'm following has entered only the Title ID as well.

I'm not getting the full game dump, but just 288's updated version of the files in that patch. Am I just doing something wrong? I'm not sure.

Edit: Hm, now I'm getting that TMD remote name error. Host name not resolved.

I think I know why I get the infinite loading screen when I put shadow and wolf in the game. I tried replacing one of sonic's and fox' costume slots with shadow and wolf and they still didn't work. Yesterday I added a bunch of mods,namely nes meta knight, dark meta knight, mr. L and mr. M. Nes and dark meta knight worked. However, when I added mr. L and mr. M, I got the infinite loading screen even though I removed shadow and wolf. I'm pretty sure mr. M has a custom CSS portrait. For some reason, whenever I add a mod with a custom CSS portrait (original CSS portraits which are edited don't count), I get the infinite loadig screen, so the problem is caused by the custom CSS portraits. None of the tutorials on adding costume slots showed adding a mod with a custom CSS portrait. How on earth do I fix this?

edit: never mind this and all of my posts before this. after a half week, I finally managed to get shadow and wolf (and mr.l and m) to work!

Can someone Help me with model editing i wanted to use 3ds max but then i heard about an extension that lets you edit them in blender if someone knows what i'm talking about please respond or post a link to where i can find it.

When playing online with Bayonetta I get an error for some reason. Every mod i download is Wi-Fi safe and only get errors when I or someone else use Bayo. Maybe I didn't update my dump correctly.

Quick question: What do I have to change for announcer settings? I'm not talking about mods (I haven't added any, though I imagine I might in the future). The issue I'm having is on Bowser Jr costumes - all of them say Bowser Jr when I select them, when they should say the name of the Koopaling (Larrry, Roy, etc). Nameplates work fine, just not the announcer call.

I imagine it's in the us_sound_call_db file, but the ids don't match properly and there are some weird sequences (only the second costume different? Alternating?).

EDIT: Found it, it was in that file. Just find the one where the 8 skins all had different voice ids and repeated it.

errr... for some reason, after installing some mods, fox and meta knight have swapped places in the CSS and the mii's icon is replaced by mario's. how do I fix this?

edit: the problem with the CSS order being screwed up is fixed but the mii's icon is still mario's

is this the first mod you're trying to apply or did you apply mods before? I suggest watching tutorials on adding costume slots
I've applied, and i'm not exaggerating here, 246 mods before

EDIT: All of them worked fine, but when I tried adding Shadow, I had the same exact problems, (infinite loading screen, etc.) I've been going insane trying to find out what the problem and how to fix it, please help

wtf 246 mods

why it exactly doesn't work? does the character select screen load infinitely? does the game crash when loading the CSS? does the game refuse to start? does the game work properly but shadow doesn't show up?
