This project has a habit of doing that.
Its why we take so long tbh, we kill translators.

Hey there. I haven't posted here before, though I've been following you since the beginning. How do you folks go about inserting text? I've been in school for programming the last while, and I would like to help you now that I know my way around a block of code.
But you guys don't need Aaron anymore, right? Isn't everything already translated and just missing insertion?

Me and my friend remembered to check back on this translation project today and it's a shame it's still unfinished after 3 years.
Every couple of months I see an update on reddit, but completion doesn't seem any closer than 1 year ago.
I don't mean to sound rude but is inserting the text really that difficult? You have pretty much everything else now right?
Is there an ETA for this because it's starting to seem like a release date of 'never'.

It's like 70% of the translation are wrong so we have to fix all of them first.
Real life took priority too so there's not much progress during these few months.
Alright everyone, there's something that I must clarify. I know Aaron said that the translation is 100% done, but unfortunately it's not. There's a lot of translation mistakes that need to be fixed first. So we're not currently under inserting text/testing stage.
This will take a long time so please be patient with us. Thanks

Due to the issues we have in the text translation, I have edited the first post to reflect the approx. percentage of the translation and fixed some of the text in the post.

@Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it! -

I really would like to make a hack that I would enjoy playing, and maybe other people would too. swapping to the EU version would also mean my US friends could not legally play it

I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
