Hey all! The other thread was hijacked so I wanted to give this topic its own thread.

There are reports of DBI not working with FW 18+ games.

I am using DBI 616 and on FW 18.0.1 and every single FW 18.0 game installs and works perfectly. I am able to go into DBI and see all their info and everything.

What is broken about DBI?

What do you mean mount game content via MTP?

@duckbill007 Yes, please clarify what you are referring to. I also tried opening the info for a few 18.0.1 titles becasue you had stated elsewhere that is broken. The info opened fine for all that I tried. Not sure why you say that is broken. But again, please explain "mount game content via MTP" so others can test. Thanks. :)

Seems like many are using DBI without knowing its various other functions.
But well, at least it sounds like game installation is fine for now.
Mounting game content can be useful, but it's not crucial for me.

How would one "mount"? I mean it seems that yeah... installing works fine so 90% of users are good. Thanks all!

I looked at the DBI documentation and found it. I imagine it's purpose is to browse/extract/modify the contents of installed titles via MTP and it did appear to be broken on the 18.0.1 game I tried. It makes the attempt but fails without any error message that I can see or find.

Mounting the content of installed titles via MTP
Go to "Browse installed applications" -> Choose apps you need to mount with (X) -> Press (+) -> "Expose contents via MTP"

As far as the DBI game info screen being broken. Again, it seems to work fine for me on 18.0.1 games too.

Yeah, you're right that's what the author said: https://gbatemp.net/threads/is-there-any-point-upgrading-to-18-0.656325/post-10429880

Finally got an appointment with an ENT, but it's not for another month. It's already been 4- days of loud ringing in my left ear, substantial pain on left side of my neck and left side on the back of my head. Doctors here at the regular clinic put me on a couple different meds for a month that did absolutely nothing, then they told me there's nothing more they can do for me despite being in pain and my ear sounding like im underwater and ringing.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Then three chiropractor appointments which also didn't help at all so i didn't go to the 4th. Been trying to get ahold of this ENT clinic out of town for a week and finally got an appointment set up. But its not til the 17th of July so I have to suffer all this shit for nearly another month.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
I hope relief from all of this is on the way because I've felt so defeated and severaly lacking in sleep because of the pain and ringing.
