Hi,

I recently got Rock Band 3 Deluxe running on my modded Wii, but have run into some rather annoying issues.

Issue #1: Can only connect one instrument. When I first ran RB3D, I was able to connect a guitar alongside a mic and 2nd guitar. The mic and 2nd guitar were connected via a USB hub into the bottom port on the Wii. Everything worked flawlessly. Now, the mic and 2nd guitar do not connect. Both dongles will be flashing blue up until I run either USB Loader GX or WiiFlow. I have the correct cIOS installed and selected (249 with base 56), yet it seems the two USB ports on the back are not recognized. I did not make any changes between them working and not working.

Issue #2: I followed the DLC installation instructions from MarioRepository, but no luck with any of the songs showing up. All that shows in the base game ~80 songs.

I'm pulling my hair out over these two issues. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Good morning,

syscheck report OK.

is your game on a USB key or hard drive?
test on hard drive, if you could.
or test your game with this loader ==> Configurable USB loader v70
myself, I use the three loaders (wiiflow, usb loader GX, configurable usb loader v70)

It's on a SD card. Tried with WiiFlow and GX. Same issue. Will try with USB Loader v70 next

Bumping this because I'm having the same issue.

I have a Wii U with hacked vWii (did this years ago, think it was the letterbomb method). I'm loading Wii games from SD card using USBLoaderGX and I cannot get the USB drums to work with Rockband 3. I am trying both of the USB ports in the back of the Wii U and can confirm that the drums work on an unaltered Wii with the disc.

I have tried installing cios 249, 250, and 251 using d2x-v10-beta52, using d2x-v10-beta53, and using d2x-v11.

Has anyone gotten this to work? Would restoring and re-hacking the vWii be a good idea?

EDIT: took several installs of d2x, but eventually it works. Instruments work using ciOS 249 on vWii through USBLoaderGX

I know this is old but just curious if you remember how you got this working
