Hacking Bilinear Filtering and PixelArt Upscaler on DS VC

So I was looking at the settings for NDS VC and also found the following things:

I always knew about render2x but never about those. I havent finished transfering things to my wii u yet, so any ideas to what happens should i change those zeros to 1 or something?

You see, these settings make a huge diference on image quality, and sits right under the 2x scale everyone talks. Have i discovered something new or nobody talks about it because it was useless?

Gonna be right back, but already bringing results. As of now i changed bilinear filtering and pixel to 1, and the font on metroid prime hunters got smoother with small flickering on the corners of the letters themselves. Changed renderscale to 4, but nothing changed. Maybe there are more settings we havent stopped to read and notice, as they are truly plaintext.

It's not new, it has been discussed a lot in DS VC injections even since we got access to them.
Render Scale 2 is the one I always use for 3D DS games.

Although, I seem to recall using Render Scale 2 along with Pixel Art Upscaler 1 had some issues.

Try it out and let us now if there is anything different when using a newer DS VC bases with both of those enabled, as our findings were made using old VC DS base files.

Edit:
Bilinear filter is useless in the config file.
It's the one yo toggle when pushing down the right analog stick.

Changing those values effect the quality.

This isn't new though, those options have been discovered A LONG time ago.

Changing some values may cause slow down in most games.

Is there a way to fix the issue where when you install an NDS game that has render scale set to 2 with WUP installer y mod, it doesn't freeze the console? Thanks.
