High School Musical 3 Pal 1:1 not working "game disc cannot be read" - Can anyone else confirm this or is it a bad burn?

Nope your wii has realised what you have stuck in it.and its went in a huff.

Try a real game and you might have better results.

Im having issues with a PAL ersion of star wars force unleashed.
I have installed the gamma version of the loader along with the cIOS that came with it.

During the "speaking" scenes. it seems to pause at certain points as if it is loading the next bit of speaking, then continues. On the 2nd level where the padwan and the female pilot are flying i pressd the "-" on the remote to skip and i got the dreaded -"Disc error detected".

Im presuming a bad burn, but is anyone else having problems?

The only other game ive tried is PAL Resident evil and it works fine, but the it worked fine in previous loaders

Same problem for me with de blob (pal). I havnt tried it decrypted yet.

Wierd as most people report it working. Dont think its a bad burn and using same Sony DVDR- which have worked great for all other games.

It's working for me perfectly on PAL 3.2E and Gamma - no crashes or loading errors etc. Certianly a massive improvement over the beta release. I'd say it's possibly a bad burn for you? Did you dump it yourself or "acquire" it via other means? The one I used is not scrubbed/patched or anything else - totally 1:1...

Decrypted and re-burnt and now works fine. Maybe was a bad burn as many people state 1:1 working.......wierd.

Yes, about 4 posts above you! But, if you still need convincing: NEED FOR SPEED UNDERCOVER *DOES NOT WORK*

You get a nice blue screen with a #002 error. It's probably one of two things:

1) New protection
2) Bad rip

Either way, the game is crap. I have it for the PS2 and it sucks.


I've added it to the compatibility WIKI as not working.

The new Online
Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! Kindan no Yami no Delta will not work. It loads thru the Disc Channel and then suffers from the
Eject Disc and Reset Game Blue/Black Screen.

Which really sucks.I hope Naruto Ex3, TVsCapcom and Bleach Work.

I get random DRE on De Blob NTSC 1:1 burned at 16x.. I figured it was just the burn that was bad.

Also, there are parts that are "empty" and walking into/near them will lock up the game and an instant DRE.

Just a little update here.. I burned again but this time on some verbatim at 8x and no DRE or empty parts of the game yet. Also, the loading parts and cut scenes are noticeably faster.

What brand before? Verbs again? I find taiwainese MCC verbs best burned at 8-12x.
