Fire Reported At Nintendo's Japanese Headquarters
Emergency services in Japan have responded to a fire at Nintendo's HQ in Minami-ku, Kyoto, local media outlet NHK reports.
The fire was reported at 1pm local time 15th Aug. The police have said the fire broke out on the 3rd floor of the building with damage mostly being confined to one room. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported at the time of writing.
Eight fire engines arrived at the scene but by the time they got there Nintendo employees had already extinguished the fire. The fire brigade are currently still on the scene investigating the cause of the fire but early findings suggest the cause may have been a faulty phone charger.
Thank god things never turned out more serious for the big N and all its employees.
